Sunset

I'd been out photographing at Far Pastures tonight and I was back home, sitting at my computer loading the images onto the computer when I looked out the window and saw a beautiful orange sky. It had been cloudy earlier on and I didn't think it was going to be very good so never bothered waiting for the sunset. I couldn't believe how it had changed within 1/2 hour.
I ran downstairs, picked up my camera, got in my car and drove to a nearby field with some trees (the sun was going down quickly by now and I didn't dare go any further for a better background interest for fear the sun went down).

I believe that a nice sunset is beautiful in any background.

Thank you Andre. Some people don't think that way though, they expect a beautfiul silhouetted backdrop too. Sorry but not everyone has the luxury of living near a pyramid etc. LOL
Anyway Andre as long as I like the shot that's all that matters. Having someone else like it is a bonus. Thank you.

I like your sunset too, Carol...and you are right, as long you as the photographer, can reproduce that special beautiful moment, that YOU only have seen, its a great picture. And you did it well!
