First visit this year.

Willow Tit

It's my first visit this year to Thornley Woods Nature Reserve. Plenty going on, we saw a Kestrel sitting in the tree but my lens isn't powerful enough to pick it up. We also saw the fox which was great, Only thing it was getting dark and my photos were blurry. Here's one that i've had to brighten up quite a lot but it's just to show he/she was there.

Just going through some old model images I took in 2008. Trying to build up a portfolio with portraits I've taken over the years.

Yeah i'm bored now. sick of looking at the snow. Cannot get the car out to take any nice spots away from home, so i've resorted to doing a self portrait. LOL

Icicles and snowdrifts

Icicles hanging from my roof and my plants in the garden. It's been such a long time since it's been as cold and as snowy. We are in for more bad weather too. The snow is right up to my bay window now. I opened the door this morning and had a snow fall in my lobbyway.

It's my birthday!

It's my birthday and I've spent the afternoon walking along the Waskerley Way. It's been a beautiful sunny afternoon till about 2.30pm then it clouded over. But I still enjoyed the crisp walk to the Gill Bridge. On the way back it was getting near sunset; the second image showing the sun going down in the distance.
