Steam Traction Engine show

Had a day out at Corbridge at the steam traction engine show. It turned out to be a glorious day only I wasn't at my best through this darned summer cold which ontop of the heat was making me grumpy. Took a few photos but wasn't very happy with them. You know sometimes we have those 'off days'. Mine was today. But tomorrow will be better.

I like these - very different to what I normally photograph, so I think that's why they appeal to me.

Thanks for the kind comments on my blog. No, I didn't win the grand prize, but will be receiving a lovely little compact from Samsung and the magazine this week as a runner-up prize :) Will be nice to have a small enough camera to carry everywhere.

Hope you feel better soon - sorry I didn't get much of a chance to talk with you on Friday. I had just gotten back from Leicestershire, and stopped in to collect my prints and Alex's prints, then had to drive up to his to return all his camera gear to him before he left on holiday :)
