Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been posting lately, i've been having a few health problems and i'm not getting out much with my camera. I have arthritis in my knees and it's starting to get worse.  I'm not getting around too well as the pain is really bad when I walk.  I've been getting physiotherapy and am going to get some accupunture.  I've been spending most of my time usinf Craft Artist by Serif creating scrapbooks of some of my widlife photos etc.  Here's a sample.

Durham Luniere

Sunday at the Lumiere light festival was, I would say, a nightmare. It was thick fog, not good for photograpy; packed solid with people, queues a mile long, one way system that made you have to walk miles further than you needed. I was very disapointed with my photos, especially of the lightshow on Durham Cathedral (because of the fog you could see the trail of the lasers and the visibility was not good either).
The rest of the time i tried to take things hand held as there was no room to put your tripod. Don't think i'll be back again. Thank goodness i went in 2009 and saw a lot more and got a lot more shots.
