I'm 51 years old and I've never been to this part of Durham city before. The viewpoint of the Cathedral and Castle were fabulous.

Whenever I feel really down and need to get peace into my soul I go to Thornley Woods and watch nature at work. These were all taken at Thornley Woods Nature Reserve, Gateshead.
